The village of Ubbeston Green is made up of a few cottages and is ideally placed for visiting the wonderful Suffolk coastline which extends for 45 miles. The local market town of Halesworth offers impressive cultural delights with a centre for the arts with theatre, film, music and exhibitions as well as Steeple End Gallery which offers paintings, sculpture, ceramics and textiles. Halesworth has many independent shops, fine restaurants, a weekly market and a monthly farmers' market, and also a bowling green, 18 hole golf course, and a local vineyard. In addition, both the Suffolk coastal towns of Aldeburgh and Southwold are a short drive away, along with castles at Framlingham and Orford.
