Occupying a peaceful setting in the rolling Warwickshire countryside, the historic village of Shottery is just over a mile from the fine market town of Stratford-upon-Avon. This pretty little location is renowned as the birthplace of Anne Hathaway, wife of William Shakespeare, and boasts a myriad of lovely thatched cottages, a welcoming inn which serves real ale and delicious food as well as another popular restaurant.
