On the east coast of Norfolk, the village of Scratby has a sandy beach, good for surfing, and has a village pub, shop and restaurant within easy reach. This is an ideal base for exploring the other coastal resorts, from quiet villages to larger resorts such as Great Yarmouth, which has a wide range of amenities including arcades, funfair rides, swimming pool, candy-floss stalls, golfing and Esplanade gardens.
