Situated on the border of Somerset and Devon, is the pretty, rural hamlet of Sampford Moor. Nearby is the town of Wellington, which has a number of shops and is also close to the stunning Blackdown Hills, which are part of an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Within driving distance from Sampford Moor is the breathtaking Exmoor National Park, covering 267 square miles and has wonderful hills and valleys. Walking, cycling, horse riding, climbing, canoeing and fishing can all be enjoyed. The National Park is also home to the famous wild ponies. Close by is the superb Watchet, which has a marina, port and shops and also worth visiting is Porlock Weir and the popular seaside town of Mainhead.
