Set amidst glorious Derbyshire countryside, the quiet hamlet of Radbourne is composed of working farms, woodland and grassy fields. Boasting an extremely well preserved Norman Parish Church the village also offers many walking and cycling opportunities as well as numerous sites popular amongst birdwatchers and wildlife enthusiasts. The nearby County town of Derby - the starting point of the Derwent Valley Mills World Heritage Site - is only six miles away and offers a wide selection of shops, pubs and restaurants, as well as wonderful museums and an excellent art gallery. Slightly further afield is the bustling market town of Ashbourne - sometimes referred to as the southern gateway to the Peak District National Park – which is famous for its annual Shrovetide football match.
