The traditional village of Mynytho on the Lleyn Peninsula is a quaint retreat that boasts a shop and pub, and is within four miles of the attractive harbour town of Abersoch. This peaceful little town, set between two extensive bays, is one of the most popular sailing destinations in North Wales and is home to various important sailing regattas throughout the summer months. The town boasts numerous pubs, restaurants and cafes whilst there are a variety of water sports facilities throughout the area such as windsurfing, water-skiing and dinghy sailing. There are three beaches within easy reach of the village - Warren Beach, Porth Bach and Porth Ceriad. Renowned for its outstanding scenery and varied walking, the Lleyn Peninsula is an ideal region for those who don't want to get wet. The mountains of Snowdonia, Portmeirion Italianate Village, and the Isle of Anglesey are all within easy reach.
