Kilgetty is a rural village central to a number of visitor attractions, including the coastal resorts of Saundersfoot and Tenby and their fabulous beaches and water sports. Boat trips to the home of a small gathering of monks and their monastery at Caldey Island are also available nearby. Situated a short drive from the Pembrokeshire town of Tenby, Kilgetty offers a choice of shops and pubs, and has its own train station. The award winning Folly Farm is close by, and this fascinating destination makes a superb family day out at a working farm, and Oakwood Theme Park (which boasts the biggest wooden rollercoaster in Europe) is just 10 minutes drive away. The stunning Pembrokeshire coastline and the walker’s paradise that is the coastal National Park, are also close and provide many scenic walking, cycling, and wildlife spotting opportunities.
