The small, scattered hamlet of Hurst is situated high in the breathtaking moorland that lies between the stunning hills of Swaledale and Arkengarthdale. The popular village of Reeth is close by, as is the historical market town of Richmond. Set at the heart of Dales farming community, this settlement is well served by a number of local amenities and is full of excellent walking and cycling routes. The area as a whole is also well known for its famous Swaledale sheep. Also within easy reach is the small town of Reeth, dominated by its large village green, and supplied by its good range of shops, pubs and restaurants.
