Located seven miles north-west of Ballinasloe, Ahascragh is a small village in located in east Galway. Home to a number of traditional Irish pubs, this charming settlement is surrounded by rolling countryside and is a great place for those who enjoy walking and cycling. Anglers can enjoy the excellent fishing in local rivers and can try their hand at catching pike and trout - both of which are common throughout the area. Ahascragh itself is central to a number of west Ireland's most popular attractions, that vast majority of which can be reached in under a couple of hour’s drive.
