Set on a national cycle route and the ancient Sarn Helen Walkway, the small village of Aberllefenni is situated amidst the wooded slopes of the beautiful Dyfi Forest and is close to the peaceful foothills of the Cader Idris mountain range. An excellent spot for outdoor enthusiasts, the area is ideal for mountain biking and canoeing. Nearby, the picturesque town of Machynlleth - one the regional capitals of ancient Wales – provides numerous museums, a good variety of shops, restaurants and pubs. For those looking to spend their time on the beach, the lovely seaside town of Aberdovey is only 10 miles away. The narrow gauge railways at Corris and Tal-y-Llyn are also within easy driving distance whilst the Tal-y-Llyn Lake offers excellent fishing. Also in the area is King Arthur's Labyrinth Underground Adventure which makes a great day out for all the family.
