Description
Wren Cottage is located in the pretty village of Aislaby commanding an elevated position on the northern side of the Esk Valley in the North York Moors National Park with Whitby just three miles away. The cottage has been recently renovated and has been tastefully decorated and furnished to a high standard. It is an ideal cosy cottage for couples who like the outdoors, with some excellent pathways and cycle tracks very close by. A small enclosed courtyard at the rear of the property is perfect for relaxing and catching the afternoon sun. The coastal resorts of Staithes, Runswick Bay, Sandsend and Robin Hoods Bay are all within easy reach and are all worth a visit. Whitby with its famous Fish and Chips, quaint gift shops and tearooms, cobbled streets and stunning Abbey is not to be missed. The North York Moors steam train can be boarded at Whitby on route to the market town of Pickering stopping at Grosmont and Goathland (alias Aidensfield in the TV series Heartbeat).
