Woodbine House is situated opposite The White Lion in the tiny village of Patterdale, at the southern end of Ullswater and on the road to Brothers Water and Kirkstone Pass. This character Lakeland cottage is like a warren inside, with rooms and passageways, 2 staircases, beamed ceilings and low doorways, im sure characters from Beatrix Potter would feel quiet at home. This corner of the Lakes is great for walking with Helvelyn nearby, cycling and sailing on Ullswater.
