Number Two The Foundry (Visit Britain Four Stars) is a high standard holiday cottage located in the heart of the Forest of Dean. The property, which dates back to circa 1800, has a rich history as one of the main warehouses servicing the busy railway that once ran through the village. Today the owners have beautifully modernised the building to create a gorgeous self catering property perfect for families or small groups alike. Internally considerable thought has gone into every detail with spacious rooms, contemporary touches and high quality materials evident throughout, including an oak kitchen and very comfortable beds. Externally, the cottage sits in the heart of the village (moments from Forest of Dean's woodlands) with two pubs nearby. The delightful heritage steam railway which still has periodic use through the summer, can be viewed from the courtyard!
