The Meadow Cottage is a stone-built, converted hay barn, one of three holiday cottages located on Scalebeck Farm, a mile from the rural hamlet of Great Asby, five miles from Appleby-in-Westmoreland and can sleep two people. The cottage is set over three floors and has one lower ground floor super king-size double bedroom (zip/link, can be twin on request), a lower ground floor bathroom, a first floor open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area with a gas fire and a shared first floor entrance hall. Outside, there is ample off road parking, a small patio garden to the front with furniture and shared use of five acres of grounds and gardens with picnic tables and a shared, external games room. The Meadow Cottage is a wonderful base for your holiday discovering Cumbria.
