The Granary & The Old Byre details
Both cottages are beautifully restored 19th century Cornish stone barns and form two sides of a charming courtyard which was the original farmyard at Creathorne, and were used as a Mill and adjoining cattle housing. They have now have been transformed into stunning holiday cottages, sympathetically restored to capture the charm and character of the original buildings, yet furnished and decorated to offer superb luxury with everything you need for a fantastic holiday in this stunning area of North Cornwall.
Located on the Devon border, just three miles from Bude the area has much to offer from beautiful sandy beaches to picturesque villages such as Boscastle, Tintagel, Port Isaac, Padstow and Clovelly. Bude the main shopping centre offers a variety of pubs and restaurants suitable to everyone's budget. There is a huge range of watersport activities along with horse riding, fishing and cycling to name but a few. Heading back into Devon give more of an extensive range of activities such as day trips to Lundy Island or sailing from Bideford.
Widemouth Bay would be the closest beach being 1-mile from the house and offers a wonderful surfing school operating from the beach with all equipment available to hire from the surf shop. The opportunities are endless, there is so much to do within a half hours' drive.
