Description
Sugarloaf Cottage takes its name from the woods in which it stands looking out over the most incredible views towards the Ashdown Forest. Its location is quiet and secluded yet close to neighbouring farm house, barn and Oast. The nearby village of Brightling is famous for its collection of fascinating follies, built by the eccentric Victorian squire, John 'Mad Jack' Fuller. They include the Needle, the Observatory, and the Sugarloaf - rumoured to be the result of a bet that Fuller lost! Shop: 3 miles Pub: 3 miles Coast: 14 miles
