Description
This traditional stone cottage has been beautifully renovated and offers comfortable accommodation in a perfect location to explore the surrounding countryside. The cottage is located in the old town of Glossop and has views from the rear of the property over to Shelf Moor, which contains over 50 crash sites dating back to the second world war. Old Glossop is a quaint village steeped in history with several period buildings with the old market cross still visible to this day. Manor Park is a stones throw away, as well as three local pubs offering real ale and traditional fare. The local shops and restaurants are less than a mile away. The area has an abundance of walks, cycle routes and horse riding paths including Longdendale Trail, Pennine way, Crowden and Derwent reservoir made famous by the Dambusters.
