Penrhiw Cottage details
Penrhiw is a 300-year-old detached cottage in a peaceful, idyllic rural holiday setting, eight miles from Carmarthen and only 20 minutes from the coast. The accommodation has been extensively renovated to a high standard.
A good base from which to explore West Wales, with a location equidistant to the Pembrokeshire and Cardiganshire coasts with extensive walking and cycling routes, golf, horse riding, fishing, canoeing and numerous sandy beaches.
Other local attractions include the Brecon Beacons National Park, the National Botanic Garden of Wales and Oakwood Theme Park (great for children), 25 minutes from Laugharne, once the home of Dylan Thomas. A local general store is within a five-minute walk.
