In the heart of what has successfully remained a typical Lakeland village, Mulberry is well placed for enjoying a holiday in a quiet location but with the busier resorts of Windermere and Ambleside only a short drive away, also accessible by the excellent local bus service or train. Staveley offers some excellent walking for all abilities, along to Ings or up into Kentmere Valley - the opportunities are endless. An excellent selection of traditional pubs are on hand, all serving excellent bar meals and local ales and do pay a visit to the Mill Yard, home to Wilfs Cafe, Hawkeshead Brewery and Organico, importers of organic wine from Italy and the Meditteranean.
