Mulberry Cottage details
Mulberry Cottage is one of two recently refurbished cottages; Teal Cottage also accommodating two guests is also in our brochure. They were originally used for corn threshing and a pig sty. The properties are set within stunning countryside close to the ancient market town Llandeilo, which has an interesting selection of individual shops, galleries and eateries.
They are within easy reach of the breath-taking scenery of the Brecon Beacons National Park, the beaches of West Wales and the splendid gardens of the Towy valley. The National Botanic Gardens of Wales, with its great glasshouse, and Aberglasney Gardens are just minutes away. The bustling town of Carmarthen and the city of Swansea are both easily reached by car.
There is superb fishing in the area too with the river Towy providing excellent salmon and sewin (sea trout) fishing, whilst for those more active the cottages are located between several excellent mountain bike trails. For nature lovers, the area abounds with wildlife, with red kites regularly seen from the barns. The Gower Peninsular has some wonderful beaches with great surfing, including Three Cliffs Bay which is less than 25 miles away.
