Description
Situated in the middle of Threlkeld Village, Kiln how Cottage is fully modernised and refurbished to a high standard. The neighbouring property of Millerdale has the same owner and the 2 cottages may be let seperately or together for up to 11 people. Kiln Howe lies adjacent to Kiln How Beck in the centre of Threlkeld village along a short lane off the main street. Threlkeld sits at the foot of the mighty Blencathra, which can be viewed from outside the cottage, and lies just 4 miles to the east of Keswick and 15 minutes drive from the motorway. The Horse and Farrier public house and restaurant is within 100 yards and the Salutaion Inn, which serves bar meals, is approximately 200 yards. There is a footpath leading from the cottage directly onto Blencathra, which rises steeply above the village, infact there are so many walks locally your car may be parked up for the week. A shared garage with Millerdale provides secure storage for bikes.
