Thornage and Little Thornage are neighbouring villages located in the Glaven Valley, one of the most attractive areas of rural North Norfolk. The area is ideal for walking and cycling and just a ten-minute drive from the coastal villages of Blakeney and Cley. Cley Marshes is recognised as one of the UK's premier bird-watching sites. The Georgian town of Holt is just two miles away and offers good quality shops, art galleries and eating places and Holt Country Park, where you can enjoy way marked walks and nature trails. There are two pubs in the neighbouring villages of Hunworth and Letheringsett, which serve good food.

Ivy Cottage is a delightful 300 year old cottage with bags of character. It enjoys wonderful views from the garden over the Glaven Valley and is situated in the grounds of the owner's house in the centre of Thornage. Heavily beamed, with the upstairs rooms also having sloping ceilings, it is unusually arranged and attractively furnished with a pleasant first floor sitting room. Shop: 2 miles Pub: 1.5 miles

Garden: Large lawned garden area available for guests use, with a patio area and barbecue. The garden has stunning views overlooking the Glaven Valley. There is also a garden house with furniture for guests to use.
Parking: For one car by the cottage.
Heating: Electric heating included Jun-Sept and £15 per week Oct-May, payable on arrival.
Pets: One small well-behaved lady dog.
Notes: The layout of the property may make it more suitable for families or couples. No children under five years accepted.
