This sandstone bungalow style cottage is located in a small courtyard development in the delightful picturesque village of Melmerby, nestling in the gaze of Melmerby fell in sight of the highest point on the Pennine chain. Situated midway between Penrith and Alston the village oozes charm and character and is a true example of the traditional Eden Valley village. The atmosphere is one of rural calm, the sandstone architecture, rippling streams and pleasant grassy open spaces all add to its charm. Melmerby boasts its own village bakery and pub serving food and drink. Fellside cottage provides an excellent base from which to visit the Lake District National Park, The Eden Valley, North Pennines and Hadrians Wall.
