Derwen Fawr is a semi-detached cottage located next to the owners’ home in the village of Michaelston-y-Fedw, seven miles from Cardiff. The cottage sleeps eight people in three bedrooms - two first floor king-size doubles and one twin - and on a double sofa bed in the snug. There are also two bathrooms on the first floor - one with bath, separate double shower, basin and WC and one with bath, basin and WC. The ground floor living accommodation comprises a fitted kitchen, sitting room with dining area and woodburner, and a snug with double sofa bed. Outside there is off road parking for three cars and a patio with garden furniture, with a gas BBQ available by arrangement with the owners. With the pub just next door, serving food, good walks in the countryside available close by and Cardiff only seven miles away, Derwen Fawr makes a great base for a holiday in this part of South Wales.
