Chapel Barn has great charm and character. A former barn used to house the farm animals from the local farm this picturesque Barn has been beautifully converted to provide cosy comfortable living with cottage features.
The barn is 12 miles from the historical city of York and 7 miles from the food town of Malton and only 3 miles from the beautiful historic mansion house, Castle Howard home to the Howard family for three hundred years.
Chapel Barn is perfect for exploring the Yorkshire wolds and the east coast. There is a wealth of local footpaths and bridleways for those who enjoy walking. The village of Bulmer has an 11th century church and is only two miles from the recently refurbished pub the Crown and Cushion. The neighbouring village of Welburn has a well established tea room (leaf and Loaf) providing fresh bread and produce. The many market towns and picturesque villages nearby enjoy a wealth of restaurants and gastro pubs along with many other attractions.
