In the very heart of the Lake District National Park and at the foot of the beautiful Langdale Valley sit Carr Crag Lodge, a detached Lakeland residence enjoying a superb, peaceful location only a short drive from Ambleside and Grasmere. A wealth of activities are literally on the doorstep from this newly refurbished, traditional home including walking, cycling and sailing, from gentle strolls up Loughrigg Fell and her nearby Tarn to more challenging treks into the Langdales. This area of the Lakes has many romantic literary connections and the former homes of Wordsworth, Beatrix Potter and Ruskin are within easy reach of Carr Crag Lodge and well worth a visit either by car or by way of the local Mountain Goat or Stagecoach Bus Companies.
