Borranside is at the northern tip of Lake Windermere, close to all lake amenities and only a 10 minute stroll into Ambleside. This south facing bungalow sits in a prime location across the road from Borrans Park where guests can enjoy direct access to the shores of Lake Windermere. This large expanse of green parkland fringing the waters edge is ideal for summer picnics, a game of football or simply a leisurely stroll. Whatever the weather, the view across Englands largest lake with a back drop of the Langdales is simply mesmerising. Ambleside is well equipped for the self catering guest with a good variety of shops for supplies as well as cafes, bars and restaurants for all budgets and plenty of outdoor clothing retailers if you get caught in a shower or two.
