Description
For nearly 600 years the Nevill family has owned land in and around Birling - a quiet little village located in An Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty near the county town of Maidstone. Birling Manor, built by the Hon Rev William Nevill in the 1830's was just across the valley from Birling House - which was a home for his son. Unfortunately the Manor was destroyed by fire in 1917 and so only Birling House now remains - sensitively renovated by the current owners and the penthouse apartment definitely has the wow! factor. Just a short stroll to the village pub and only a five minute drive to the historic market town of West Malling with plenty of good restaurants, pubs and specialist shops. Many National Trust properties and gardens are within very easy reach as is London by road or train.
