Barn Cottage is attached to the owner's home in a tranquil location, half a mile outside Ellingham. It enjoys superb unhindered views across fields to the Heritage coast, with the Farne Islands and Longstone lighthouse nearby.
An excellent holiday base to explore the area; the National Park and Cheviots; many Castles and stately homes such as Bamburgh, Dunstanburgh, Warkworth and Cragside;and historic Alnwick with its majestic castle and new water gardens, unique bookshop and theatre.
Enjoy The Northumberland Coastal Path which stretches from Cresswell to Berwick on Tweed with its stunning coastline, broad sandy beaches and rugged cliffscapes. Visit Lindisfarne, with its priory and castle by Lutyens. Have lunch at Craster, famous for its kippers and smoked salmon.
