Description
Abbey Coach House enjoys a quiet location within this lovely village, tucked away down a quiet side road with little passing traffic. Staveley is the ideal choice for the more mature holidaymaker as all amenities in the village are on the level although it is equally suitable for guests of all ages as Staveley has so much to offer. The village has a local Spar Shop, traditional butchers and post office, even a cookery school and organic wine outlet as well as one or two pubs, The Eagle and Child offering award winning food throughout the day and into the evening. The village is also an excellent base for some wonderful walks or bike rides into the Kentmere Valley or along to the neighbouring villages of Ings or Crook, a gentle amble through some lovely countryside, whatever the time of year.
