Reputedly one of the oldest properties in Appledore it has been recently converted to a high standard yet maintains much of its original charm and character with wooden floorboards and inglenook fireplace. The village of Appledore is situated at the point where the rivers Taw and Torridge meet before joining the Atlantic Ocean at Bideford bay. The village has a wealth of maritime history narrow streets cobbled courtyards and Fishermans cottages with many pubs and restaurants and maritime museum.
