The monument is shaped to represent a spyglass or telescope that Admiral Hardy would have used on board ship. There are stunning far-reaching views from each of the comfortable cottages and you can see miles across the countryside from the dining rooms and bedrooms. Dorchester with its Wednesday market is 6 miles away and Weymouth is 7 miles away. Take time to sit and have a drink in Weymouth and watch the amazing old Harbour with all its boats and ferries or jump on one to visit Guernsey for the day. Discover Dorset s amazing Jurassic Coast from your cottage. Within easy reach are Lyme Regis Charmouth Seatown Bridport Abbotsbury and Weymouth to name a few musts to visit. There is something for everyone on your doorstep whether it be the interesting coastline the pretty villages with dog friendly pubs the abundance of water sports fishing golf or fossil hunting.
