WONDERFUL VIEWS OVER THE HILLS AND OUT TO SEA WITH DISTANT OUTER HEBRIDES VIEWS SLEEPS 4 1 This detached timber bungalow is 0.5 miles from the sea in the remote crofting village of Scourie. The remote North West Highlands delight the visitor with spectacular scenery and wonderful seascapes and none more so than at Scourie where the rocky bay stretches North West towards Handa Island. The ferry leaves regularly from nearby Tarbet and takes visitors across to the bird sanctuary where 170 species of birds and 216 species of plants will delight ornithologists and botanists. Loch river and sea fishing can all be enjoyed near Scourie and walkers will be spoilt for choice. Walk 4 miles walk from Blairmore to Sandwood Bay reputed to be the most magnificent beach in the UK and only accessible on foot. From Scourie you can explore south past Quinag to Lochinver or north to Kinlochbervie a major fishing port. A day trip could also be taken to Cape Wrath mainland Britain s most northerly point.
