Wells is the smallest city in England and is steeped in history. Enjoy some lovely strolls around the ancient streets including Vicar s Close the oldest complete continuously inhabited medieval street in Europe The Bishops Palace and the famous market. There is also a choice of popular pubs restaurants shops and leisure facilities. At the foot of the Mendip Hills you will also be close to attractions to suit all tastes which include Roman Bath Clarks Village at Street Wookey Hole Cheddar Gorge and the beaches on the north coast which are 10 miles away.
