PRETTY CHARACTER COTTAGE IN WALKERS PARADISE This delightful property has been tastefully refurbished by its owner yet retains much of its traditional rural cottage charm. Situated in the village of Bere Alston in the Tamar Valley an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty it is a great base for exploring the southern coastline of both counties. You will find there is so much to do in this area; nestling on the Devon/Cornwall border with rugged Dartmoor on your doorstep there are many beautiful scenic walks and Devon and Cornwall s beautiful unspoilt beaches are within easy reach. The ancient market town of Tavistock is only a 5 mile drive and boasts a covered market attractive shops and farmers markets. Slightly further afield yet still within easy reach you will find Plymouth which offers a wide variety of restaurants and shops Historic Barbican and Hoe Theatre Royal and cinema complex as well as the National Marine Aquarium. Other must see attractions in the area include Morwellham Quay Buckland Abbey and The Garden House as well as an array of National Trust properties to visit. The accommodation offers TWO bedrooms: 1 double on the first floor and 1 small single room on the ground floor. Bathroom: with shower over bath and WC (located on slightly elevated level).
