TRADITIONAL COTTAGE SURROUNDED BY THE DRAMATIC SCENERY OF LOCH LOMOND SLEEPS 4 4 This beautiful cottage is the ideal base for outdoor enthusiasts and nature lovers is situated at the heart of a working sheep farm. The cottage dates from the 17th century and was reputedly once the home of Rob Roy MacGregor. Located near Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park and only a few minutes walk from the shores of Loch Ard Loch Ard has a water sports centre with a choice of activities and all around the mountains and forests offer unsurpassed climbing hill walking mountain biking orienteering and ornithology. The Forest Hills Spa Resort is a few minutes walk and Aberfoyle is 4 miles away with good shopping. The accommodation offers TWO bedrooms: 2 double bedrooms. Bathroom: shower with WC. Lounge/diner: with open fire and Freesat TV. Kitchen: with electric cooker fridge dishwasher and microwave. Outside: enclosed wildflower garden with river. Amenities: Bed linen towels and electric included. Wi-fi available. Regret no smoking. 2 well-behaved dogs by arrangement. Additional info: Due to working farm and waterfall adjacent to property the cottage is more suitable for children over 8 years of age. Adjacent property which sleeps up to 4 people with shared shower room available on request. Additional accommodation suitable for guests over 12 years of age. Guests can use the swimming pool spa and fitness centre at the hotel immediately adjacent to the farm at an extra cost.
