NESTLING IN THE ORIGINAL PART OF THE VILLAGE AN IDEAL BASE FOR TOURING THE AREA This recently converted detached former school house is situated in the old part of the village of Tedburn St Mary and is a perfect choice for touring Devon. A 20 minute drive will take you into the heart of the historic county city of Exeter with its Cathedral shops pubs and leisure facilities. Rugged Dartmoor is a must for walkers and this is also a short drive. The beaches on the south coast offer a range of sheltered coves and long sandy beaches. Other attractions worth a visit include Crealy Devon Castle Drogo Buckfastleigh and numerous National Trust properties and gardens. Enjoy some lovely countryside walks direct from the property with the two village inns serving good food and shop being about 1 mile away. Enjoy a glass of wine in the pleasant enclosed garden area overlooking the church. The accommodation retains much of its original charm with exposed stonework and wood floors entered via the first floor and offers ONE double bedroom on the ground floor with iPod/DAB radio and en-suite shower room with WC. Lounge/kitchen/diner: spacious and well-equipped with TV DVD radio iPod dock cooker washing machine fridge and microwave. Outside: enclosed garden with seating and allocated parking space.
