Stroll the streets of Appledore with it s bustling quayside and direct access to National Trust cliff-top and river walks and the Maritime Museum explaining the history of the village. The 2 miles of golden sandy surfing beach at Westward Ho! is under 1 mile and there are other attractions and leisure facilities all within easy reach. The pannier market town of Bideford is a 10-minute drive with its shops and restaurants and is home to The Oldenburg for day trips to Lundy Island.
