This former Lakeland Hotel was converted in 2004 into 9 apartments and 1 cottage, number1 having the advantage of being the only self contained cottage within the development. An upside down property with the living accommodation upstairs, no.1 is very well appointed and equipped to ensure quests have a most comfortable base from which to enjoy their holiday. Situated in the heart of Portinscale village, with a restaurant nearby in the Derwentwater Hotel, a village shop and tearoom (seasonal opening) and the Farmers Pub where you can enjoy a drink with a bar meal. There are footpaths to both the lake and into Keswick where you will find a wealth of amenities.
